Lockdown

Almost there! My days of formal education are numbered and today's lockdown on campus was evidence. I found a chair in the basement of the SWKT (can't get enough of those church acronyms) and vowed not to leave until my last college paper was complete. I semi-succesfully completed my paper and it took me from 11:30 am until 6:00 pm. Pretty sure I'm the world's slowest writer and as pathetic as it sounds my eyes were blood shot! Seriously?! How I ever survived college is a miracle. I have discovered one survival technique when it comes to finals time and end of semester hours... music about Mexico, well, beaches, sun, pina coladas, the like. I throw on the ipod for about 5 minutes just prior to cracking down on the paper. Being done with school work is near the bliss one might find on the beaches of Mexico. Of course my ballad singers are the classics: James Taylor, George Strait, Jack Johnson, Kenny Chesney.
